So all the folks in Caps Land know that Alex Ovechkin recieved the key to the city yesterday in a celebration to honor him as MVP of the NHL. Check out this video of the ceremony.
Not only is he the best player on the planet, he also has a wicked sense of humor for a guy who's only been in this country a few years! After recieving the key, he noted that this award makes him "president for the day" and then told all the fans to "Have fun - there's no speed limit today!" Thanks OV and again, many many congrats! Enjoy your vacation to Russia and see you in about a month and a half!
